Rembrandtpark is a great place for walking or relaxing. The city park from 1961 is located in Amsterdam Nieuw-West and measures 50 hectares. It’s laid out in English landscape style and was named after the famous painter Rembrandt van Rijn. In this park you’ll find many lawns, ponds and playgrounds. Also located here is ‘de Uylenburg’, the oldest children’s farm in Amsterdam. You’ll find various works of art and the Gerrit Hoekstra pumping station is a special attraction.
